COMBINED ORTHODONTIC AND SURGICAL TREATMENT IN PATIENT WITH CLASS III AND FACIAL ASYMMETRY

Severe skeletal Class III and facial asymmetry requires combined orthodontic surgical procedure In order to correct of sagittal transversal deviations between upper lower jaw. Aim: The aim this case was present effects treatment on craniofacial morphology whole aesthetics. Material method: a 17-year-old female patient years treated. Patient had severe caused by mandibular prognathism, latherognathism, open bite crossbite. At the beginning overbite - 3.5mm overjet 6mm. Parameters lateral cephalogram at were: SNA 83°, SNB 88°, ANB -5°, SN/SpP 9°, SN/MP 38°, SpP/MP 29°, sum angles Björk’s polygon 396°, Jarabak ratio 63.26%, I/SpP 47°, i/MP 98°. Orthodontic preparation for lasted 21 months with fixed appliance. Surgical done both jaws wisdom teeth were extracted. finished 6 after intervention. Results conclusion: control end 85°, -2°, 10°, 32°, 22°, 394°, 64,20%, 94°. stable occlusion in I 1.5mm 3mm. Both segment improved significantly aesthetics profile en face provided all three directions.
